Ham, Onion, Spinach & Mushroom Pita Pockets
Todays lunch. Homemade ham, onion, spinach and mushroom pita pizza pockets.
Just open a piece of pita bread along the edge 1/2 way around the pita, spread pizza sauce inside on one side (in the uncut half of pita), add spices, fillings and mozzarella.
I used sliced ham from the deli, onion, fresh spinach, white mushrooms and mozzarella, with some freshly cracked black pepper.
Fold bottom half into the pita.
Spread a small amount of pizza sauce on remaining pita ‘flap’, sprinkle a little cheese and fold over. Place seam side down on baking sheet and bake at 425F for 10 – 15 minutes.
