Milk Kefir Overnight Oats

I love how simple breakfast becomes with overnight oats. I tend to grab something simple for breakfasts, and it really doesn’t get simpler than this. Spend 5 minutes putting all the ingredients in a jar, refrigerate overnight and dig in!

Everything in this overnight oats mixture makes for a healthy breakfast, and the oats keep you feeling full for quite a while, the perfect way to fuel your body before starting the day.

You can make a couple days worth at a time and wake up every morning to a nutritious and filling breakfast ready to eat. And…it’s delicious!

Switch up the flavor of your overnight oats by substituting the milk kefir for almond or coconut milk, or by flavoring the milk kefir during a second ferment.

MK Second Ferment

I loved the flavor of my spiced milk kefir base I made for my Milk Kefir Eggnog so I made my second ferment for my overnight oats using the eggnog recipe minus the honey and egg. It’s fantastic in the overnight oats!

I snip up a couple of dried apricots or some other dried fruits or even some apple molasses to bump up the flavour
