I make a batch every Christmas and usually serve some in a hollowed loaf of sourdough bread, reserving the bread from the center of the loaf for dipping.
Christmas has rolled around again already and this year, rather than the Knorr vegetable mix, I used onion soup mix and some homemade Vegetable Mix. I also added a bit of dried chilli flakes and some roasted garlic. It’s very good!!
- 1 pkg Knorr dry vegetable soup mix
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 cup Hellman's real mayonnaise
- 300 gram pkg. frozen spinach, chopped, thawed and drained
- 5 green onions, chopped
Mix all ingredients. Cover by placing plastic wrap directly on surface. Chill for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to develop.
